Abstract Peralihan musim kemarau ke musim hujan ditandai dengan perubahan cuaca yang terjadi secara cepat dan tiba-tiba. Fenomena ekstrim serupa itu biasanya berupa perubahan cepat cuaca. Pagi hingga siang panas terik dan sore harinya tiba-tiba hujan deras disertai petir. Kondisi tersebut perlu diantisipasi sedini mungkin oleh masyarakat untuk mengurangi risiko akibat banjir. Penelitian yang berjudul “Minat Masyarakat Membuat Biopori dalam Upaya Mitigasi Banjir” ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana minat masyarakat membuat lubang resapan biopori di Perumahan Griya Cimanggu Indah Kota Bogor yang mengalami banjir pada bulan Oktober 2020 yang lalu. Salah satu manfaat lubang biopori adalah untuk mencegah banjir. Dari hasil penelitian yang dilakukan ternyata diketahui bahwa sebelum kejadian banjir yang dialami tahun lalu tersebut perumahan ini tidak pernah mengalami banjir. Warga perumahan ini tidak berminat untuk membuat lubang resapan biopori karena perumahan ini memiliki saluran air yang sangat baik. Terjadinya banjir di perumahan ini tahun lalu disebabkan karena adanya longsoran yang menutupi gorong-gorong saluran air perumahan tersebut.
