Abstract Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan premi bruto, beban klaim bruto, dan hasil investasi terhadap laba perusahaan asuransi umum di Indonesia tahun 2007-2016. Data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini merupakan data sekunder yang diperoleh dari Buku Statistik Perasuransian Indonesia tahun 2007-2016 yang dikeluarkan oleh Otoritas Jasa Keuangan (OJK). Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah simple random sampling dengan menggunakan tabel bilangan acak dan dibantu oleh alat program statistika yaitu SPSS 20. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) secara parsial variabel 𝑋1 tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel π‘Œ; (2) secara parsial variabel 𝑋2 tidak berpengaruh terhadap variabel π‘Œ; (3) secara parsial variabel 𝑋3 berpengaruh terhadap variabel π‘Œ; (4) secara simultan variabel 𝑋1, 𝑋2, dan 𝑋3 berpengaruh terhadap variabel π‘Œ. Walaupun hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa pendapatan premi bruto dan beban klaim tidak berpengaruh terhadap laba secara parsial namun tetap harus diingat oleh perusahaan asuransi umum bahwa pendapatan premi bruto merupakan pendapatan utama yang diperoleh dan beban klaim bruto merupakan kewajiban utama yang dikeluarkan. Kata Kunci: pendapatan premi bruto, beban klaim bruto, hasil investasi, laba perusahaan asuransi umum, asuransi umum.
