Abstract Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh jumlah klaim cabang Jakarta dan cabang Medan yang tinggi dibandingkan dengan cabang lain selain kedua cabang tersebut. Semakin besar klaim kedua cabang tersebut akan semakin besar jumlah klaim nasionalnya. Peningkatan jumlah klaim yang tidak diikuti dengan peningkatan jumlah premi akan mengurangi keuntungan perusahaan. Rumusan masalah dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui apakah terdapat hubungan antara besarnya jumlah klaim cabang Jakarta (X1) dengan klaim nasional (Y), hubungan antara klaim cabang Medan (X2) dengan klaim nasional (Y) dan hubungan antara klaim cabang Jakarta (X1) dan cabang Medan (X2) dengan klaim nasional (Y) asuransi kendaraan bermotor pada PT Asuransi Astra Buana. Metode penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui dokumentasi dan kepustakaan. Sumber data yang digunakan adalah sumber data sekunder berasal dari data yang sudah ada berupa jumlah klaim bruto di PT Asuransi Astra Buana periode Januari 2016 sampai dengan Juni 2018. Teknik analisis data menggunakan metode analisis regresi linier berganda. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukan bahwa : terdapat hubungan antara besarnya jumlah klaim cabang Jakarta (X1) dengan klaim nasional (Y), dengan nilai t hitung lebih besar dari t tabel yaitu sebesar 9.766 > 2.042. Tidak terdapat hubungan antara besarnya jumlah klaim cabang Medan (X2) dengan klaim nasional (Y), dengan nilai t hitung lebih kecil dari t tabel yaitu sebesar 1.728 < 2.042. Terdapat hubungan antara besarnya jumlah klaim cabang Jakarta (X1) dan cabang Medan (X2) dengan klaim nasional (Y). Hal ini ditunjukan pada hasil F hitung lebih besar dari F tabel yaitu sebesar 92.559 > 4.195. Kemudian dari hasil uji koefisien determinasi besarnya jumlah klaim cabang Jakarta dan cabang Medan menghasilkan nilai R-Square sebesar 0.873 yang menunjukan bahwa kedua cabang tersebut memiliki hubungan dengan klaim nasional sebesar 87.3% dan sisanya sebesar 13.7% dipengaruhi oleh cabang lain selain cabang Jakarta dan Medan.
