Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui perbandingan jumlah klaim dari penerapan warranty vessel classed and class maintained during period of insurance dan vessel classed and class maintained at the time of accident pada asuransi marine hull di PT Asuransi ASPAN dengan melihat frequency klaim beserta loss ratio klaim kedua versi warranty, serta memberikan pemahaman mengenai pengertian kedua warranty, mana yanglebih efektif antaravessel classed and class maintained during period of insurance dan vessel classed and class maintained at the time of accidentyang dipakai sehingga dapat dijadikan sebagai standar warranty pada buku kebijakan underwriting perusahaan. Hasil dari penelitian yang didapat jumlah klaim cenderung meningkat jika versi warranty vessel classed and class maintained at the time of accident diterapkan dibandingkan dengan versi warranty vessel classed and class maintained during period of insurance dan warranty vessel classed and class maintained at the time of accident lebih efektif dari perspektif underwriter untuk memanage risiko pada asuransi marine hull Kata kunci : warranty vessel classed and class maintained during period of insurance, warranty vessel classed and class maintained at the time of accident
