| Abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui beban klaim, dan beban usaha terhadap laba usaha.Penelitian dilakukan terhadap perusahaan asuransi PT. Asuransi Binagriya Upakara Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi linear berganda dengan α = 0,05. Hasil dan kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : pengujian signifikansi t secara parsial (uji statistik t) beban klaim (X1) berpengaruh terhadap laba usaha (Y). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,002 ( < 0,05), dan beban usaha (X2) berpengaruh terhadap laba usaha (Y). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,001 ( < 0.05). Pengujian secara simultan (uji statistik F) variabel independen yaitu beban klaim, dan beban usaha berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen yaitu laba usaha pada PT. Asuransi Binagriya Upakara, dengan memiliki nilai F-hitung sebesar 41,227 > nilai F-tabel sebesar 4,74 dan nilai signifikasi F sebesar 0,001 kurang dari nilai alfa sebesar 0,05 (0,001 < 0,05). Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara uji koefisien determinasi (R square) diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,899 yang berarti laba usaha dapat dijelaskan atau dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor model x yaitu beban klaim dan beban usaha sebesar 89,9%, dan dapat dikatakan bahwa ada faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi laba usaha sebesar 10,1% dan dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti seperti hasil investasi dan komisi.
