Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh antara tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat kepercayaan masyarakat terhadap minat beli asuransi kendaraan bermotor. Penelitian ini dilakukan pada salah satu tempat di kawasan Semper Barat yaitu Komplek Pemadam Kebakaran Semper Barat, Jakarta Utara. Sampel yang digunakan sebagai objek penelitian adalah 64 responden dari 178 kepala keluarga dari populasi yang ada. Hasil dan kesimpulan dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa uji parsial (uji t) tingkat pengetahuan (X1) berkaitan dengan minat beli asuransi kendaraan bermotor (Y), hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signinifikan t sebesar 0,002 < 0,05 dan tingkat kepercayaan (X2) berkaitan dengan minat beli asuransi kendaraan bermotor (Y), hal ini dibuktikan dengan signifikansi nilai t 0,001 < 0,05. Uji F (Uji Simultan) tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat kepercayaan terhadap minat beli pada perusahaan asuransi kendaraan bemotor dengan Fhitung sebesar 19,215 > Ftabel 3,15 dan nilai signifikansi F sebesar 0,000 < 0,05 dari nilai alpha. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa pada uji Koefisien Determinasi diperoleh 0,387 atau 38,7% yang berarti variabel tingkat pengetahuan dan tingkat kepercayaan berpengaruh 38,7% terhadap minat beli asuransi kendaraan bermotor dan 61,3% lainnya dipengaruhi oleh faktor lainya yang tidak dijelaskan dalam penelitian ini
