Selain sebagai syarat kelulusan kegiatan magang ini sendiri memiliki tujuan untuk menambah pengalaman dan sebagai pengimplementasian ilmu yang didapat dalam perkuliahan ke dunia pekerjaan, meningkatkan hardskill serta mempelajari softskill, adaptasi dengan dunia kerja serta memudahkan karir setelah lulus nanti. Dalam kegiatan ini, Perusahaan yang mengizinkan mahasiswa untuk melakukan magang adalah PT. Asuransi Buana Independent. Dalam praktiknya mahasiswa berada dalam Divisi Reasuransi yang memiliki tugas utama sebagai petugas fakultatif atau orang yang melakukan penawaran bisnis fakultatif kepada perusahaan lain
