Abstract Kinerja keuangan merupakan satu di antara dasar penilaian mengenai kondisi keuangan perusahaan yang dilakukan berdasarkan analisis terhadap rasio keuangan perusahaan. Kinerja keuangan dapat melihat kondisi perusahaan dan tingkat keberhasilan perusahaan dalam menjalankan kegiatan operasionalnya. Rasio yang dapat digunakan diantaranya adalah rasio likuiditas dan rasio solvabilitas. Ukuran yang digunakan untuk mengukur rasio pada laporan keuangan adalah tingkat gradien. Gradien yaitu tingkat rata-rata perubahan untuk fungsi linier menentukan kecuraman garis. Tingkat gradien yang positif menggambarkan kenaikan dari titik awal ke titik akhir, sedangkan tingkat gradien negatif menggambarkan penurunan dari titik awal ke titik akhirnya. Pada penelitian ini tingkat gradien diaplikasikan pada laporan keuangan suatu perusahaan reasuransi. Hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa rasio likuiditas pada rasio lancar dan rasio cepat tingkat gradiennya positif artinya maka semakin baik perusahaan dalam memenuhi kegiatan operasionalnya. Sedangkan rasio kas dalam kondisi tidak stabil karena tahun 2015 tingkat gradien positif dan 2016 menurun artinya tingkat gradiennya negatif. Sedangkan hasil dari rasio solvabilitas pada rasio hutang terhadap total aktiva dalam kondisi baik, hal ini ditunjukan dengan tingkat gradien yang negatif sehingga dapat disimpulkan perusahaan dapat mengelola aset dalam kaitannya dengan total hutang terhadap aktiva selalu menurun. Kata Kunci : Kinerja Keuangan, Rasio Keuangan, Tingkat Gradien.
