| Abstract | Underwriting is the process of identification, evaluation of health, physical and financial risks that exist in prospective insured or insured. To determine whether the risk is acceptable or decline If an insured personfails to pay the premium due to variouscircumstances and as a result the insurance coverage can be renewed. This process of putting the insurance policy back after lapse is know as reinstatement. In PT Asuransi Jiwasraya (Persero) reinstatement can be processed if the policy premium outstanding is not more than 3 yearssince the firs due date where the premium failed to pay. Reinstatement can be prosess by filling a form and paying the premium outstanding with the penalties. Reinstatement policy underwriting is to review the condition of the insured at the time of the overdue premium, to know theescalation of risks incurred on the insured from the risk at the beginning of insurance Keyword: Underwriting Reinstatement |
