| Abstract | Penyelenggaraan jaminan sosial bagi seluruh rakyat Indonesia diamanatkan dalam Undang-Undang Dasar (UUD) Tahun 1945 Pasal 28 H dan Undang-Undang Nomor 36 Tahun 2009 tentang Kesehatan. Kedua Undang-Undang tersebut menyatakan bahwa kesehatan adalah hak fundamental setiap penduduk dan setiap penduduk berhak mendapatkan pelayanan kesehatan. Sebagai upaya tindak lanjut perbaikan akan penyelenggaraan jaminan sosial yang telah ada, pemerintah pun kemudian membentuk Undang-Undang No.40 Tahun 2004 tentang Sistem Jaminan Sosial Nasional (SJSN). Salah satu program SJSN adalah Jaminan Kesehatan Nasional (JKN). Produk JKN memberikan manfaat program managed care yang sama dengan produk Asuransi Kesehatan di industri nasional sehingga dikhawatirkan produk JKN akan mematikan produk Asuransi Kesehatan di industri nasional. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk membandingkan produk JKN dan produk Asuransi Kesehatan di industri nasional. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian kualitatif yang dilakukan dengan melakukan studi literatur dan kuesioner. Hasil penelitian ini adalah produk JKN telah memiliki manfaat dan prosedur pelayanan yang baik namun dalam pelaksanaannya masih banyak yang harus diperbaiki sehingga sesuai dengan harapan masyarakat luas. |
