| Abstract | This research was conducted in order to find out the effect of investment earning rate and inflation rate to claim reserve of general insurance company in 2011 – 2015. Secondary data was obtained from insurance company statistical reports in 2011 – 2015 issued by Financial Service Authority. This thesis use stratified random sampling and SPSS program version 23. The results of this research are : (1) simultaneously variables X1 and X2 effect on Y with the contribution of 39.1%, (2) partially variable X1 positively and significantly effect on Y with the contribution of 8.1%, (3) partially variable X2 positively and significantly effect on Y with the contribution of 31%. This reaserch is expected to be additional information for insurance companies about the effect and contribution of investment earning rate and inflation rate to claim reserve of general insurance company.
