| Abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis hubungan antara komisi agen dan biaya promosi dengan pendapatan premi. Penelitian dilakukan pada perusahaan asuransi PT. Asuransi Umum Videi. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini adalah deskriptif kuantitatif. Analisis yang digunakan adalah r penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : pengujian signifikansi t secara parsial (uji statistik t) komisi agen (X1) berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan premi (Y), hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,033 (< 0,05). Biaya promosi (X2) berpengaruh terhadap pendapatan premi (Y). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,029 (> 0,05). Pengujian secara simultan (uji statistik F) variabel independen yaitu komisi agen dan biaya promosi berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen yaitu pendapatan premi pada PT. Asuransi Umum Videi, dengan memiliki nilai F-hitung sebesar 50,74 > nilai F-tabel sebesar 19,00 dan nilai signifikasi F sebesar 0,019 kurang dari nilai alfa sebesar 0,05 (0,019 < 0,05). Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara uji koefisien determinasi (R square) diperoleh nilai sebesar 0.981, yang berarti pendapatan premi dapat dijelaskan atau dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor variabel x yaitu komisi agen dan biaya promosi sebesar 98,1%, dan dapat dikatakan bahwa ada faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi pendapatan premi sebesar 1,9% dan dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti.
