| Abstract | Tabarru’ fund in sharia life insurance was obtained from premium paid by participants. The accumulated tabarru’ fund then invested in order to sufficient the reserve of tabarru’ fund to pay the benefit of the policyholders in the future. This research was aimed to know: 1) The influence of gross premium income to the reserve of tabarru’ fund; 2) The influence of return on investment to the reserve of tabarru’ fund; 3). The influence of gross premium income and return on investment to the reserve of tabarru’ fund; 4) How much influence of gross premium income and return on investment to the reserve of tabarru’ fund either partially or simultaneously. The sample in this research is unit linked product data from January 2015 until December 2017 in BNI Life Insurance Sharia Unit. The analytical method used in this research is multiple regression analysis. The result of this research showed that: 1) There is a very significant influence of gross premium income to the reserve of tabarru’ fund; 2) There is a significant influence of return on investment to the reserve of tabarru’ fund; 3) There is a very significant influence of gross premium income and return on investment to the reserve of tabarru’ fund; 4) The influence of gross premium income to the reserve of tabarru’ fund amounted 21.5%; The influence of return on investment to the reserve of tabarru’ fund amounted 7.9%; The influence of gross premium income and return on investment to the reserve of tabarru’ fund amounted 31%.
