| Abstract | Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan tujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh dan kontribusi pendapatan premi neto, beban klaim neto, hasil investasi dan jumlah beban usaha terhadap keuntungan perusahaan asuransi jiwa tahun 2004-2014. Data sekunder diperoleh dari laporan statistik perasuransian tahun 2004-2014 yang dikeluarkan oleh OJK dahulu BAPEPAM LK. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling dan dengan menggunakan alat bantu program SPSS edisi 23. Hasil penelitian ini adalah: (1) secara simultan variabel X1, X2, X3 dan X4 berpengaruh terhadap Y dengan kontribusi 93.3%, (2) secara parsial X1 berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Y dengan kontribusi 49.2%, (3) Secara parsial X2 berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Y dengan kontribusi 67.4%, (4) secara parsial X3 berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap Y dengan kontribusi 89.0%, dan (5) secara parsial X4 berpengaruh negatif dan signifikan terhadap Y dengan kontribusi 54.7%. Penelitian ini diharapkan bisa menjadi tambahan informasi bagi perusahaan mengenai seberapa besar pengaruh dan kontribusi premi neto dan hasil investasi yang diperlukan untuk meningkatkan persentase keuntungan perusahaan asuransi jiwa dan menentukan kebijakan yang harus dilakukan dalam meningkatkan laba berdasarkan klaim neto dan beban operasional.
