| Abstract | In this study, the authors conducted the identification of marine cargo products. Marinecargo of any insurance cover must be in accordance with the standard operating procedure of PT Asuransi Wahana Tata. If there is a discontinuity in the application of the standard operating procedure of the company's marine cargo insurance coverage, there will be differences in the management system. By applying the SOP system that has been created by the company PT Asuransi Wahana Tata, the company is already thinking about the future prospects. Application of SOP is right and the acceptance / underwriting correctly will have a big impact for the betterment of the company PT Asuransi Wahana Tata. An underwriter should have more knowledge of the product that will be in akesptasi and in accordance with the SOP in order to analyze the closure of marine cargo can create good analysis and can reduce risk.
