| Abstract | "Protection of low income people are required in risk management efforts. For example : the protection afforded to rice farmers through a miero insurance such as weather index insurance to protected the farmers from drought risk. The rice farmers will receive compensarion if rainfall level are below average based on data from Indonesian Agency for Meteorological, Climatological and Geophysies (BMKG). This can be solution in the risk transfer method for the farmers. Micro insurance is formed with low premium and fast payment claim".
