| Abstract | The lending activities carried out by the Bank are activities that have great potential in providing incomte to the Bank. Of course, in the credit distribution there are risks that might be experienced by the hank Therefore the role of credit insurance is important to protect these risks. Report with the title "Underwriting Process in the Consumptive Credit Insurance at PT. Asuransi Bangun Askrida The purpose of this report is to describe the Credit Insurance underwriting process, starting from the entry of insurance offers o underwriters until the verification of insuranse. The underwriting process starts from the bidding that goes into the underwriter, then analyzes the completeness of the data followed by conducting a risk selection and provides recommendations on the risk, afier which verification of the insurance coverage is concluded and ends with archiving the document of insurance. This study uses an observation method by participating directly in the underwiriting process, interviewing methods with those who are experts in the process and the method of documentation, namely ohtaining information and data from company documents.
