| Abstract | Insurance company will provide an assurance of protection against the risk guaranteed in the property all risks Insurance policy. However, insurance company also have their own retention or risks for losses that incurred. If the coverage exceeds the own retention, the insurance company can spread the risk of these risks to Reinsurance, One of the reinsurance method is facultative reinsurance. Facultative Reinsurance is an agreement between ceding company and reinsurer that have same option to offer or not offer a reinsurance business as well as reinsurers are free to accept or not accept the offer. The retnsurance company will carry out an underwriting process on the bidding for the risk by analyzing or researching the risk objects offered, then selecting, classifying and finally accepting those in accordance with the requirements of the company.
