| Abstract | Risk is an uncertainty that can cause a loss. The risk of an accident will always be there. Accident is an unfortunate incident that happens unexpectedly and unintentionally, typically resulting in damage or injury. A risk can be minimized by transferring the risk to insurance companies. One product that can reduce accident risk is personal accident insurance. Personal accident insurance is protection provided by insurance companies to protect financial losses that may arise if the insured has an accident that results in permanent total disability or death. With the increased interest in buying personal accident insurance policies, the higher the submission of claims that will occur. A claim is an attempt by a policy holder to demand compensation from the insurance company for a loss incurred for the insured object. |
