| Abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui apakah masyarakat RW 07 mengenali sumber bahaya kebakaran rumah tinggal mereka dan untuk mengetahui bagaimana perlakuan risiko masyarakat RW 07 terhadap sumber bahaya kebakaran rumah tinggal mereka. Informan dalam penelitian ini adalah Ketua RT 06-15 dan 10 masyarakat dari Kelurahan Kayu Putih RW 07. Teknik analisis data menggunakan teknik reduksi data, penyajian data, dan kesimpulan. Dari hasil analisis diketahui bahwa masyarakat RW 07 sudah mengenali sumber bahaya kebakaran rumah tinggal mereka, menurut mereka sumber bahaya kebakaran lebih dominan disebabkan oleh korsleting pada instalasi listrik, kebocoran kompor gas, dan lilin. Dalam perlakuan risiko kebakaran rumah tinggal, informan belum menggunakan metode pengalihan risiko (risk transfer) khususnya asuransi. Metode yang mereka pakai didominasi menggunakan metode mengurangi risiko (risk mitigation). Sesungguhnya potensi informan dalam menggunakan metode pengalihan risiko (risk transfer) cukup tinggi, hanya saja mereka belum memperoleh sosialisasi dengan benar sehingga masih ada kesalahpahaman dan salah persepsi tentang asuransi |
