| Abstract | Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui dan menganalisis faktor – faktor yang mempengaruhi laba usaha asuransi harta benda di PT Tri Pakarta Cabang Sudirman periode 2013-2017. Terdapat dua variabel yaitu, variabel bebas terdiri dari pendapatan premi langsung dan hasil underwriting, dan variabel terikat merupakan laba usaha asuransi harta benda. Penelitian ini termasuk dalam penelitian kuantitatif, yaitu data yang digunakan adalah laporan keuangan periode 2013-2017 yang diperoleh dari PT. Tri Pakarta Cabang Sudirman yang menjadi objek dalam penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian ini dapat diketahui bahwa pertumbuhan variabel bebas yaitu pendapatan premi langsung dan hasil underwriting di PT. Tri Pakarta Cabang Sudirman mengalami peningkatan dan penurunan setiap tahunnya. Sedangkan pertumbuhan variabel terikat yaitu laba usaha asuransi harta benda mengalami fluktuatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan model regresi linier berganda. Dari hasil uji F menunjukkan bahwa variabel pendapatan premi langsung dan hasil underwriting tidak berpengaruh signifikan secara simultan terhadap laba usaha. Dan berdasarkan hasil uji t menunjukkan bahwa hasil underwriting berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laba usaha.
