| Abstract | This research is to answer the problem how big influence agent commission and policy cost to net premium income at PT Bosowa Insurance in year 2012-2016. The purpose of this study is to obtain empirical evidence of factors affecting net premium income as a dependent variable. Independent variables used in this study are agency commissions and policy costs. The initial hypothesis of this study is the effect on net premium income. The study found that agency commissions affect net premium income for motor vehicle insurance products, while policy fees for motor vehicle insurance products do not affect net premium income. Simultaneously, agent commission and policy cost have an effect on net premium income in PT Bosowa Insurance, contribution given by both variable together is equal to 57,9%. For the company, improve the quality of marketing personnel by attending seminars, training, and further education, and improve the quality of products in accordance with market surveys and advertise products owned in various media. so automatically the company's revenue will increase maximally and the company's expense will decrease.
