| Abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan premi bruto dan beban klaim bruto terhadap hasil underwriting. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap perusahaan reasuransi PT. Reasuransi Nasional Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Hasil pengujian hipotesis t menyatakan bahwa pendapatan premi bruto berpengaruh yang signifikan atau nyata terhadap hasil underwriting, dapat ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikasi pendapatan premi bruto sebesar 0,019 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Hasil pengujian hipotesis t menyatakan bahwa beban premi bruto berpengaruh yang signifikan atau nyata terhadap hasil underwriting, dapat ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikasi beban klaim bruto sebesar 0,003 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Hasil pengujian hipotesis F menyatakan bahwa pendapatan premi bruto dan beban klaim bruto berpengaruh yang signifikan atau nyata terhadap hasil underwriting, dapat ditunjukkan dengan nilai signifikasi pendapatan premi bruto dan beban klaim bruto sebesar 0,001 lebih kecil dari 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Hasil pengujian Koefisiensi Determinasi menyatakan bahwa angka koefisien korelasi (R) sebesar 0,935. Hal ini berarti hubungan antar variabel independen dengan variabel dependen sebesar 93,5%. Dari angka tersebut dapat diambil kesimpulan bahwa terdapat hubungan yang kuat antara variabel independen dengan variabel dependen. Besarnya Adjust R Square (R2) adalah 0,837. Hasil perhitungan statistic ini berarti bahwa kemampuan variabel independen dalam menerangkan variasi perubahan variabel dependen sebesar 83,7%, sedangkan sisanya sebesar 17,3% (100 – 83,7%) diterangkan oleh faktorfaktor lain di luar model regresi yang dianalisis. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa model yang di dapat masih butuh variabel bebas lain yang mampu menjelaskan hasil underwriting.
