| Abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan premi, beban klaim dan hasil underwriting terhadap laba setelah pajak. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap perusahaan reasuransi PT. Reasuransi Nasional Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi linear berganda dengan α = 0,05. Hasil dan kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : pengujian signifikansi t secara parsial (uji statistik t) pendapatan premi (X1) tidak berpengaruh terhadap laba setelah pajak (Y). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0.510 ( > 0.05), beban klaim (X2) tidak berpengaruh terhadap laba setelah pajak (Y). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0.227 ( > 0.05), dan hasil underwriting berpengaruh positif dan signifikan terhadap laba setelah pajak (Y) hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0.047 (< 0.05). Pengujian secara simultan (uji statistik F) variabel independen yaitu pendapatan premi, beban klaim dan hasil underwriting berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen yaitu laba setelah pajak pada PT. Reasuransi Nasional Indonesia, dengan memiliki nilai F-hitung sebesar 165,201 > nilai F-tabel sebesar 4.76 dan nilai signifikasi F sebesar 0,000 kurang dari nilai alfa sebesar 0,05 (0,000 < 0,05). Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara uji koefisien determinasi (R square) diperoleh nilai sebesar 0.988, yang berarti laba setelah pajak dapat dijelaskan atau dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor model x yaitu pendapatan premi, beban klaim dan hasil underwriting sebesar 98,8%, dan dapat dikatakan bahwa ada faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi laba setelah pajak sebesar 1,2% dan dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti seperti hasil investas dan beban operasional.
