| Abstract | Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh pendapatan premi neto, beban klaim neto, dan beban usaha terhadap laba usaha. Penelitian dilakukan terhadap perusahaan asuransi PT. China Taiping Insurance Indonesia. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif deskriptif. Uji analisis yang digunakan adalah Regresi linear berganda dengan α = 0,05. Hasil dan kesimpulan penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa : pengujian signifikansi t secara parsial (uji statistik t) pendapatan premi neto (X1) berpengaruh terhadap laba usaha (Y). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,021 ( < 0,05 ), beban klaim neto (X2) berpengaruh terhadap laba usaha (Y). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,033 ( < 0,05), dan beban usaha (X3) berpengaruh terhadap laba usaha (Y). Hal ini dibuktikan dengan nilai signifikansi t sebesar 0,042 ( < 0.05). Pengujian secara simultan (uji statistik F) variabel independen yaitu pendapatan premi neto, beban klaim neto, dan beban usaha berpengaruh terhadap variabel dependen yaitu laba usaha pada PT. China Taiping Insurance Indonesia, dengan memiliki nilai F-hitung sebesar 6,437 > nilai F-tabel sebesar 5,41 dan nilai signifikasi F sebesar 0,001 kurang dari nilai alfa sebesar 0,05 (0,001 < 0,05). Hasil analisis dalam penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa secara uji koefisien determinasi (R square) diperoleh nilai sebesar 0,727, yang berarti laba usaha dapat dijelaskan atau dipengaruhi oleh faktor-faktor model x yaitu pendapatan premi neto, beban klaim neto, dan beban usaha sebesar 72,7%, dan dapat dikatakan bahwa ada faktor lain yang dapat mempengaruhi hasil underwriting sebesar 27,3% dan dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain yang tidak diteliti oleh peneliti seperti hasil investasi dan komisi.
