Abstract Insurance marketing activities is one of the main pillars and so the spearhead in the insurance business both general insurance and life tnsuramce. Level of competition is getting tougher and harder in the insurance business that required extensive networks, a strong sales force and needs to be supported by an integrated database of customers and prospective customers in order to construct a reliable marketing strategy, one through insurance agents as intermediaries between insurance companies and the insured. Insurance agents are people working alone or working in an instance, acting for and on behalf of the Insurance Company. With the existence of this distribution channel, consumers are not too difficult in needs of the insurance. This happens because the agents will help the process of insurance coverage carried by the prospective insured. Additionaly, the agency also playing role in increasing business revemue and expand wider network for a company.
