| Abstract | Tujuan penelitian ini adalah menganalisis perbedaan rasio RBC antara perusahaan asuransi jiwa nasional dengan perusahaan asuransi jiwa patungan dan menganalisis dampak perbedaan rasio RBC bagi masyarakat yang hendak berasuransi. Metode yang digunakan adalah case study pada perusahaan suransi jiwa nasional dan perusahaan asuransi jiwa patungan masing-masing 5 perusahaan dengan aset terbesar, tahun 2019-2020. Sedangkan jenis datanya adalah data sekunder yang dikumpulkan melalui situs perusahaan masing-masing berupa laporan keuangan. Teknik analisis dilakukan dengan uji beda rata-rata (Compare Means) atau uji t (t-test) dengan bantuan alat SPSS. Kemudian melakukan analisis dampak perbedaan rasio pencapaian RBC bagi masyarakat yang hendak berasuransi. Hasil perhitungan menunjukaan bahwa tidak terdapat perbedaan rasio RBC antara perusahaan asuransi jiwa nasional dengan perusahaan asuransi jiwa patungan. Namun dilihat dari rataan rasio RBC, perusahaan asuransi jiwa nasional belum menunjukkan kinerja keuangan yang lebih baik dari kinerja keuangan perusahaan asuransi jiwa patungan. Hai ini berdampak pada kurangnya kepercayaan masyarakat pada perusahaan asuransi jiwa nasional, yang berpotensi meninimbulkan ketidakmampuan perusahaan untuk menanggulangi risiko kerugian yang terjadi di masa depan. |
