Abstract Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh premi retensi sendiri dan klaim retensi sendiri terhadap hasil underwriting bruto. Sehingga penelitian ini dapat digunakan sebagai ide untuk membuat pedoman underwriting bruto. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif. Penelitian ini menggunakan data PT Tugu Reasuransi Indonesia dari Januari 2017 - Desember 2018. Analisis yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah analisis regresi parsial, analisis regresi berganda, analisis t-tabel, dan analisis uji F (simultan). Berdasarkan uji regresi, penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa premi retensi sendiri memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dan positif terhadap hasil underwriting bruto, hasil lain menunjukkan bahwa klaim retensi sendiri memiliki pengaruh yang kuat dan positif terhadap hasil underwriting bruto juga. Selain itu, premi retensi sendiri dan klaim retensi sendiri secara simultan memiliki pengaruh kuat pada hasil underwriting bruto. Kata kunci: premi retensi sendiri, klaim retensi sendiri, dan hasil underwriting bruto.
